The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.
SASSA will be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed in regards to the superior number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] here is to reach-out into a substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area daily. The assistance issue created for intervention experiences a higher influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to sassa status check the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to enable the sassa servicing of all prospects and raise use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
